Probably the most infamous style of sword known to man, the Katana finds its roots in feudal Japan as the Sword of the Samurai. It quickly became the ultimate fighting weapon and those who saw it wielded were transfixed with awe. As contact between East and West became more frequent stories of the powerful Samurais and their beautifully crafted Katana assured them a place of legend in Western culture.
